Many first time authors come to us in hopes of having their project brought up to snuff for publication. It is important to remember that a project worthy of publication has usually been through multiple edits before it's ready to be sent to a publisher. Just because you have 50,000 words doesn't necessarily mean your work is ready to go. New Moon can help prepare your work so it's up to industry standards. This is an intensive process that often requires substantial rewriting, additional interviews with the client, additional stories or information, reformatting, etc. New Moon evaluates each project on its own merits to determine the client's investment, then handles the rewrite. Sometimes the stories are non-fiction such as biographies, other times the subjects are works of the imagination or fiction. In exchange for making your story come alive through our time and talent, we are also compensated for giving up any rights to the work and keeping our silence concerning our role in the project for which our clients assume credit.
